All the zeros...

This week seems to have a focus on zeros.....

Week 20 on weight watchers

No 0lbs weight loss :) But los 2lbs :)

And so I am now finally 13st 0lbs !! :)

A Happy 90th Birthday to Band Master James Williams MBE

Making of some more lovely 0pp soup (butternut squash and carrot)

I made some lovely white chocolate mouses (Not 0pp I know, but very yummy and very oooooooo!)

I received my first kiss (off a patient!) this week. This lady was so nervous and anxious but she felt that the love, care and compassion that I showed to her deserved several hugs and kisses! She really reassured me this week that the job is exactly what God has called me to do in my life.

I made a yummy toad in the hole this week too.

I've enjoyed a lovely read of the new Weight Watchers Magazine whilst enjoying some greek yogurt and some plums :)

If you follow me on facebook or twitter ( @thelifeofmrso ) then you will see that I have made some more of the trail mix taken from the last Weight Watchers' magazine - you can find the recipe here...

And finally I have enjoyed and made the full use of my Tupperware! As you will know, I am trying to be more organised and prepared with the food I take to work. So to help me transport all the food I rely heavily on Tupperware (or similar things!) The small boxes I got from 99p shop. They came in a set of 3 and are perfect for the following items....
Here is a daily supply of food at work so I have got:
- A WW hot chocolate sachet with some marshmallows
- Milk (enough for porridge at work as I didn't have enough time that morning for it before going to work!)
- Jelly (0pp of course!)
- Olives
- Lunch which is Salmon and cous cous (cooked the night before)
- Greek yogurt and peaches (in a sistema breakfast pot)

What have you enjoyed doing this week?...

Yummy White Chocolate Mousses

What better way to enjoy white chocolate than in mousse form.....

I took the strawberry and white chocolate mousse recipe from weight watchers version and just basically removed the strawberry part!

This works out as 4pp per serving when making 4...

Ingredients
110g White Chocolate (but could also be done with just 100g)
1 tbsp skimmed Milk
3 Egg whites

No need to set the oven as it just cools and sets in the fridge!

1. Whisk the egg whites in a clean bowl until they form soft peaks - I use an electric had whisker as it makes it a lot easier and less wrist action!!

2. Melt the chocolate - I melt mine in the microwave as much quicker and easier!

3. Add a tbsp of the egg whites to the melted chocolate and quickly combine.

4. Carefully fold the remaining whites into the chocolate mixture.

5. Spoon into your ramekins (I choose heart ones to make them look a little more special!)

Let them set for a good few hours and then sit down, relax & enjoy!!!

A yummy cholatey 4pp treat :)

10,000 hits!! :)

This week is week 19 on Weight Watchers and I have reached 10,000 hits on this blog!!! :))))))))

**As you can tell I am slightly happy!**

So what else has this week seen for me?...

Firstly I baked THESE yummy cake pops.... LUSH! I took them along with me to a local church's youth fellowship where they were a big hit - I was surprised!

Secondly I dropped my powder :( and it smashed :( - However, it means that I will need to buy a new one ....

Thirdly I saw NO WEIGHT LOSS :( Major sad times as I am now getting annoyed with that so.....

I am now back to proper tracking with my phone and online tracker - I feel that this will help me with ensuring that I am pointing properly and will hopefully question myself on is it worth putting it in my mouth as it will mean that I have to point it!!!

I have of course enjoyed some yummy meals.....

Hairy Dieter's inspired Chicken Bhuna (Pointed as 3pp for the curry and then 4pp for the naan) TOTAL 7PP

Lazy friday night - can't be bothered to cook meal - 2 slices of WW Bread (2pp)  2x Chicken Style burgers (Quorn) (7pp) BBQ Sauce & Tesco L.C. Balsamic Dressing (0pp) TOTAL: 9PP

WW Tortilla Wrap (3pp), Salad (0pp), Cheese (1pp) Blognaise (8pp) TOTAL 12PP

Had some yummy desserts....

Skinny Cow Mint 2pp

Jelly at lunch 0pp

Custard (2pp) & Fake apple turnover (3pp) TOTAL 5pp

Bought some new and unusual fruit .... Sharon Fruit. It was half price in Lidl (25p) and I've still not had the guts to eat or try it yet!

Had some yummy snacks at lunch time - but it obviously created the discussion in my little head of what should I have 1st?!

And lastly I have started taking a photo everyday of what I am grateful for - more to be revealed at a later stage but this is Wednesday's photo. It's of my two lovely friends that I sit next to during rehearsals with The International Staff Songsters. I am grateful for these two lovelies as we share many happy hours together giggling at lots of different bits and bobs including our funny words and notes that come out of our mouths!

Oh and of course I had some good cuddles with my boys!

What have you been up to this week?

Cake Pops 1sp per Pop!

A new recipe that I found on the lovely Weight Watcher's UK Support group on Facebook...

Cake Pops!! :) These work out as 1sp for 1 or 3sps for 2... And thanks to the new flex programme it works out even better!

Ingredients
50g Dark Chocolate
1tbsp 0% Fat Greek Yogurt
15g Caster Sugar
1 Medium Egg
20g Low Fat Spread
60g Self raising flour
10g Dark Chocolate sprinkles - you will see that I didn't use these as I used my own sprinkles...

Set the oven to 180'C / 160'C for a Fan Oven / Gas Mark 4

Let's get baking....

1. Mix together the yogurt & sugar.

2. Add the egg and the butter/spread and then sift in the flour.

3. Melt 30g of the chocolate - I did mine in the microwave - much quicker and easier!

4. Stir in the melted chocolate and mix well....

5. Spoon the mixture into the cake pops molds - make sure that it is filled up to the top and then put the lid on.

6. Bake for 15 minutes

7. Allow to cool properly before removing it from the mold....

8. Melt the rest of the chocolate and decorate the pops

9. Allow to set and then sit down and enjoy! Yummm......
